An evening of inspiration, networking, and entertainment. Get ready to experience the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of New York, as Techstars NYC invites you to attend the Founders Are The New Popstars Demo Day on The Rooftop at Pier 17.
At this inaugural gathering, Techstars NYC aims to redefine the traditional founder Demo Day by creating a community-driven celebration that democratizes entrepreneurship.
In addition to a US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and an internationally recognized thought leader, the event will feature food and music entrepreneurs, including the 12 companies of the Techstars NYC. The 12 startups, all recent graduates of a three-month intensive entrepreneurship program through Techstars NYC, will present their business ideas to an audience of their peers, elected officials and potential investors. The program is designed to help boost equity in the tech sector – 58 percent of participating founders are Black or Latino and 62 percent are women.

Open to founders of all backgrounds, Techstars New York City is designed to provide equitable access to funding and support for Black, Hispanic and Latino, Indigenous American and Pacific Islander entrepreneurs building startups that aspire to make us healthier, happier, smarter and wealthier.
