A 19th century vessel. An early 20th century lightship. Here and now. The Seaport Museum provides a rare opportunity to board and tour the 1885 tall ship Wavertree and the 1908 lightship Ambrose, which are moored at Pier 16 as part of the Museum’s collection. Access the multiple decks on Ambrose. Visit the cargo hold on Wavertree. Learn about life at sea and the days of the ships’ captains and crews. Entry is free.
