Seaport Kids: Ahoy with the South Street Seaport Museum

Take to the high seas—without leaving port! Our friends at the South Street Seaport Museum welcome kids (and their adult crew) aboard their historic working vessels for an afternoon of music, art, and maritime activities. Learn about the history of the ships and the early days of the Seaport. Two sessions are available, with programming tailored for each age group:

4:00–4:45pm: ages 3–7 (with caregiver)

5:00–5:45pm: ages 7–12 (with caregiver)

In order to go below deck, all adults will need to show proof of vaccination before boarding.

Reservations required. Capacity is limited and walk-ins may be accepted if space allows. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Stroller parking available at the base of the gangway. The historic ships are working vessels and their decks are not designed for young children. Each child under 3 must have a dedicated adult guardian. For children aged 3–5, an adult companion is required for each group of up to 3 children. Adults must be vaccinated.
