NYC Winter S+4 Restaurant Week
at the Seaport

Tasty lunches. Delectable dinners. NYC Restaurant Week is a bright light amid winter in the city — and the Seaport’s Malibu Farm, The Fulton, Carne Mare and Tin Building will once again be part of the culinary action. During the city-wide Restaurant Week, the restaurants will be offering two-course prix-fixe lunches Monday to Friday, and three-course prix-fixe dinners on select days. Read on for a preview of what each restaurant is serving up during this opportunity to experience New York’s finest restaurants at approachable prices.

Seafood and river views are an excellent antidote to the winter blues. Both The Fulton’s Restaurant Week lunch menu and dinner menu feature the celebratory-feeling Petite Seafood Plateau of oysters, shrimp cocktail and sashimi, and mains include the Ume Sesame Crusted Salmon and the iconic Gruyère Cheeseburger.

Sticking to those healthy-eating resolutions is easier at Chef Helene Henderson’s veggie-forward Malibu Farm. The Restaurant Week lunch options includes Tofu Coconut Curry and Roasted Shrimp Fra Diavolo “Pasta” (fresh zucchini noodles). At dinner, the lineup features their signature Malibu Vegan Salad and Seared Salmon with Winter Vegetables—plus homemade sorbet for dessert.

The cozy, wood-paneled dining room of Carne Mare is the perfect place to settle in for a three-course lunch this winter, with main options that include Chef Andrew Carmellini’s Famous Prime Rib Sandwich and a dry-aged beef Bolognese Rigatoni. The restaurant is also doing brunch for Restaurant Week, with comfort food delights like the Chop House Benedict and Pane al Latte French Toast.
