Street Dreams are made of this.

Street Dreams, the global online community and creative studio, is back at it again. Continuing its three-month residency, Celebrating the Wins at New York’s Seaport has great upcoming events that you don’t want to miss out on.

Street Dreams is the epitome of street culture and high art coming together. The brand is deeply rooted in the DNA of New York City and metropolitan areas around the world, including Vancouver and Tokyo. It is the most multicultural and diverse photography collective in the world, and the team behind the brand has always championed under-privileged and underrepresented talent.

Celebrating the Wins will host Steve’s Flea Market on June 12th and 13th, a pop-up for local brands and Street Dreams partners to showcase their products and sell exclusive items to the community inspired by founder and creative director Steven John “Sweatpants” Irby. Showcased during this event will be “More Dreams” exclusive merch, Tone Customs custom photography straps, Maybe Tomorrow hats and shirts, Photodoms vintage cameras, books and magazines and much more.

If you’re more into the digital side of art, check out NFT Day. Hosted on June 25th, select pieces from the gallery will be “unlocked” and available for purchase after the exhibit ends in August on the metaverse. In addition, there will be educational workshops surrounding the world of NFTs.

What are NFTs?

NFTs are digital assets that represent real-world objects, in this case, art. They are bought and sold online, usually with cryptocurrency, and are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos.

“Street Dreams is seeing the success of NFTs and blockchain technology empower creatives and wants to help educate our community about this new space,” said Steven John “Sweatpants” Irby of Street Dreams. “NFTs are allowing artists to take back the power and receive the proper credit for the work that they create. Street Dreams wants to help them become active in the ownership economy in the right way.”

To that end, everyone featured in Celebrating the Wins will be a part of NFT day.

To be a part of the conversations surrounding today’s art and immerse yourself in this inclusive community, check out Celebrating the Wins, at 1 Fulton Street from now until July 30th.
