NYC Restaurant Week: Seaport Style
The city’s best restaurants. At unbeatable prices. Enjoying prix-fixe menu deals during NYC Restaurant Week® is a time-honored tradition — and this summer, the program returns for 30 days to celebrate 30 years of that tradition. From July 18 through August 21, NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2022 will offer prix-fixe menus at $30, $45 and $60 (depending on restaurants’ location and whether you go for lunch or dinner). Some restaurants are participating for select weeks, while others will offer the promotion throughout the entire month.
As always, the Seaport is proud to be a part of NYC Restaurant Week, with our flagship restaurants The Fulton, Malibu Farm and Carne Mare all taking part. Here’s what to expect if you decide to treat yourself to a Restaurant Week deal and enjoy a delicious summer dining experience over the coming weeks.
The Fulton
Summer is the time to indulge in your favorite seafood specialties, and no one does seafood (or river views) quite like The Fulton. Jean-Georges’ seafood-centric eatery at Pier 17 is offering its prix-fixe Restaurant Week menu Monday to Friday. It’s $45 per person and available at lunchtime only. The two-course lunch provides an option of a Kale and Arugula salad, Heirloom Cucumber salad, or Long Island Fluke to start, with a main course of either Crispy Fish Tacos (served with chipotle mayonnaise and spicy slaw), Organic Glazed Chicken with piperade and fermented black beans, or Faroe Island Salmon in a piquillo pepper and lemon thyme broth. All are classic Fulton dishes, making this summer the perfect time to experience the riverside restaurant. Gorgeous sunny days are also ideal for snagging a table with some of the city’s most impressive Brooklyn Bridge views.
Malibu Farm
Fruit. Veggies. Whole grains. Light bites. Healthy eaters, this is your season, and Malibu Farm’s got you covered. The NYC outpost of Chef Helene Henderson’s makes summer dining a no-brainer, with a waterfront perch on Pier 17 and Summer Restaurant Week lunches for $30 per person. The prix-fixe menu includes three refreshing options to start — Watermelon Gazpacho, Vegan Summer Rolls, or Burrata with Summer Strawberries and market greens. For the main course, choose from Black Bass with summer beans and sun gold tomatoes, Grilled Roasted Chicken with aji verde sauce and summer vegetables, or the Street Corn Salad (you can add shrimp or steak for an extra $12). You might just be tempted to return for Sunset Hour, which is offered Monday to Thursday from 4–6pm.
Carne Mare
We may be in the thick of summer, but lazy brunches with bubbles tend to make even the warmest days sweeter, and thanks to Restaurant Week, you and your crew can do Sunday Brunch at Carne Mare for $60 per person from July 18–August 21. Think prosecco and fresh cocktails spiked with limoncello, along with beloved Italian and steakhouse specialties. For starters, the options include a Sicilian Caesar and Mozzarella di Bufala Toast. Secondi selections include AC’s Famous Prime Rib Sandwich, a Chop House Benedict, and more. But make sure to save room for dolci—your pick of cherry cheesecake, sweet cream panna cotta or a refreshing lemon sorbeto.
More Restaurant Week Deals at the Seaport
With 30 days to enjoy Summer Restaurant Week, you have plenty of time to explore some other neighborhood eateries who are participating in the prix-fixe program, too. Longtime Seaport favorite Barbalu is offering a $30 lunch menu Sunday to Friday, a $30 Sunday Brunch, and a $45 dinner Sunday to Friday, between July 18–August 21. Each option includes some of the restaurant’s best Italian dishes, and the lunch/brunch options include a bottle of Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, rosé or spumante. Fancy dinner and a movie? You can’t go past The Tuck Room for spirited classic dishes and craft cocktails—all within steps of the Seaport’s IPIC Theater. For Restaurant Week, the Tuck Room is offering a $45 dinner from Sunday to Friday, July 18–August 21.
