Brooklyn Bridge panoramas. City lights shining on the river. It’s hard to find a more romantic view in the city. What’s on your plate will be pretty special, too. The Fulton is offering a limited à la carte menu and an optional tasting menu throughout Valentine’s weekend. Live violin by Nadia Khodakovska will provide a romantic ambiance—the menu, including sashimi, scallops and caviar, will take care of your appetites. Cue the ahhhs: Dessert options include a Raspberry and Lychee Heart.

Healthy & Delicious: A Love Story

Whether it’s date night with your Valentine or girls’ night with your Galentines, Malibu Farm has a match made in heaven—farm-to-table dishes full of fresh ingredients and maximum flavor. Live acoustics by Late Night add a romantic flourish. Ceviche, potstickers, scallops and beef tenderloin are your appetizer and main options. But really, it’s all about the Flaming Heart Chocolate Cake for dessert. Served with Bananas Foster and Canela Ice Cream. Uh-huh.
Dine Like it’s a Holiday (Because it is.)

Make your V-Day Monday the highlight of the season with holiday-style dining at Andrew Carmellini’s handsomely designed chophouse. Its cozy booths and dark wood decor were tailor-made for intimate dinners for two. Not into the fancy schmancy sit-down dinner thing? Ssäm Bar has a Valentine’s weekend prix-fixe menu that makes dinner much more fun, with shareable dishes including Hamachi Crudo, Roasted Oysters (with caramelized kimchi butter, omg), Grilled Prawns and a Mixed Grill combo of beef short rib, pork shoulder steak and pork belly. The Love Letter cocktail will charm you both, with its gin, lapson-infused Campari, blood orange oleo and calpico. Prefer bubbles? A beverage pairing is available for an additional $55.

Celebrating Valentine’s Day doesn’t need to mean dinner. Keep things casual with cocktails and a bite at Pearl Alley, the cozy oasis at Pier 17 where Dante Winter House is currently in residence. (Hint: That means there’s a Negroni Bar.) For Valentine’s weekend, Pearl Alley is offering a signature cocktail, The Rose, along with affogato for dessert.

Ready to take the romance up a notch? The neighborhood’s intimate eatery The Little Shop has planned something special for Valentine’s Day night—Shop-Drunk Love, a one-night celebration complete with champagne cocktails, a personalized tarot reading, a burlesque show and take-home gift.

What could be sweeter than a stroll by the riverfront and a delicious treat with your boo? February’s Signature Cone of the Month at Mister Dips is the aptly named Love Dove. Savor red velvet Oreo, choco-cherry dip and hearts of gold. (And if your date’s more of a savory kind, you can’t go wrong with waffle fries. Maybe even the dirty-dipped kind—loaded with scallion and queso.)
Because Nothing Beats a Sugar Rush

If you’re going to pick up some sweet treats for your Valentine, you might as well go for some laughs, too. Come up with a message (up to 10 characters)—and Funny Face Bakery will pipe it onto one of their Sweet Hearts cookies for you. The customized piping takes place Friday through Sundays, 11am–7pm, and on Valentine’s Day for the last-minute gifters. Need even more sweetness in your life? The bakery has two seasonal flavors for February—the Two Faced Chip, a marriage of cocoa, white chocolate and espresso, and the Chocolate Kiss, where chocolate and sugar come together in perfect harmony.
