Merry music. Loved ones. A delicious meal. Christmas looks a little different for everyone, but food and joy are certainly centerpieces of the season. If you’re not sure where your holiday is taking you this year, take the day off to enjoy a gourmet meal at one of the Seaport’s restaurants. Christmas at Malibu Farm
Chef Helene Henderson’s veggie-forward all-day menu gets a festive twist with Christmas specials offered from December 24th-26th. Dine on holiday creations like the decadent Lobster Risotto with furikake, black garlic, and fine herbs, or the refreshing Winter Salad with winter greens, winter citrus, and yuzu vinaigrette. Finish off your meal with the unique Matcha Croquembouche, profiteroles with a matcha filling.
Reservations for December 24th-26th are available from 12pm-7:30pm, with Christmas specials priced a la carte.
Christmas at Carne Mare
A luxurious meal awaits you at Carne Mare, Pier 17’s warm and inviting chophouse. Open from 5pm-10pm on Christmas Eve and 1pm-9pm on Christmas Day, Andrew Carmellini’s steakhouse is the perfect choice for those looking for a holiday meal in a grand setting. Enjoy their classic menu options, as well as holiday specials.
If you’re cozying up at home, pick up a dessert or a side, or go for the whole Christmas Takeaway Feast at $95 per person. Each three-course meal includes three appetizers, a Beef Short Rib Brasato plus vegetable sides, and two holiday desserts, a Gingerbread Biscotti and a Christmas Cheesecake. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from the Takeaway Feast will be donated to City Harvest.
Christmas at The Fulton
Mix up your traditional Christmas meal with a seafood feast from The Fulton. Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s seafood standout is offering a three-course prix-fixe menu all day long, and these dishes are sure to satisfy any seafood lover. Choose from mains and appetizers like the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare or the Fennel Crusted Salmon. And for dessert, choose from a holiday classic like the Bûche de Noël or an innovative spin on the gingerbread house with the Gingerbread Bundt Cake.
The Fulton’s three-course, prix-fixe Christmas menu is available from 12pm–8pm on Saturday, December 25th, for $168 per person and $84 for children under 10.
Christmas at Home—with Fresh Local Food
For those staying home for the holidays, make it a little bit easier with the Winter Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm Share, starting on December 23rd and running through March 17th. You can stop by Fulton Stall Market to order, or you can place your order on their website. Sign up by December 18th to get your first delivery on December 23rd, or join later in the season for a pro-rated cost. Select from 18 different options, ranging from fresh pasta to local seafood, soups and stews to crepes and crisps.
