Il Brigante

Il Brigante was created with the goal of replicating some of the tastes and traditions of southern Italian cuisine, using the freshest and best quality ingredients. The menu selection is dotted with specialties from Calabria, like Pizza Calabria and Antipasto Casareccio with spicy salami. Or, enjoy Fusilli Silani, pasta with caciocavallo cheese and sausage ragu baked to perfection in the wood-burning oven. This is a typical dish from Sila, the mountainous region adjacent to Cosenza, where briganti – modern-day Robin Hoods – roamed the hills with their pointy hats in search of trouble, and are the inspiration for the restaurant’s namesake.
