Indoor Dining is Back at Pier 17

Indoor Dining is Back at Pier 17

You’ve spent all winter cooped up inside, cooking meal after meal. You missed that magical feeling of eating out—the setting, the company, the exceptional ingredients and chef-prepared dishes, all of it! Now for the good news: indoor dining returns to New York City restaurants this month and our Pier 17 teams can’t wait to welcome you back.

Per city guidelines, with COVID-19 safety precautions in place, Malibu Farm and The Fulton reopen for indoor dining at 25% capacity on Friday, February 12thBoth restaurants will be open for dinner service Wednesdays through Sundays, with the addition of brunch on Saturdays and SundaysOutdoor dining is still available—for those milder winter days—as is delivery and takeout, which has been a popular option for New Yorkers during quarantine.

“We’ve served thousands of people during the pandemic,” says Pawel Brzezinski of Creative Culinary Management. “We feel fortunate to reopen all our restaurants, and because our guests’ safety, health and wellness is our number-one priority, we’ve implemented several procedures to create a safe environment for everyone.”

Working with the Department of Health, and following the latest CDC guidelines, both restaurants have careful protocols in place, including contact tracing, employee COVID-testing, temperature checks, increased deep cleaning procedures, and the use of separate entrances for take-out and dine-in guests to avoid crowding. Upgrades to each space include Molekule air purifiers, MERV 13 filters, protective equipment for staff, contactless menus, single-use items and hand-sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant. In addition to the guest capacity of 25%, table layouts have been adjusted to ensure six feet of distance between parties.

With peace of mind taken care of, guests are invited to come back and enjoy some of their favorite dishes, from Malibu Farm’s Cauliflower Crust “Pizza” and Stop Light Tacos to The Fulton’s Seafood Plateau and Longevity Noodles. (Brooklyn Bridge views from The Fulton sweeten the deal.)

It’s an exciting time for our culinary and service teams, who live and breathe hospitality. Just as you’ve missed the dining-out experience, our team members have missed the chance to serve; to set the scene for an unforgettable meal and perhaps introduce you to unexpected new flavors.

For those not quite ready to return to indoor dining, both restaurants continue to offer delivery and pick-up service, with options that surpass the typical notion of takeout food. Consider, for example, Family Style Sashimi or a Fried Seafood Feast for 6 from The Fulton. You can also order bottles of wine to be delivered, or take things up a notch with a bottled cocktail from the curated selection of JGxDante Cocktails on the menu.

Malibu Farm’s pick-up and delivery menu includes signature farm-to-table dishes already paired into delicious bundles, like the Ocean View Dinner Package, which includes a Malibu Salad with shaved Brussels sprouts and Winter Greens, 21 Mile Peekytoe crab cake, crispy black bass, seared Faroe Island salmon, and sides of roasted vegetables and avocado crema lentil rice. Or, keep things casual with a Taco Tuesday package, which comes with tortillas and all the fixings you need to build your own tacos.

There’s plenty more where that came from, too. Click through the links below to view the latest menus—and to make reservations for indoor or outdoor dining, or order delivery/pick-up.

Bon appetite and we’ll see you on the Pier!
