Epic yet intimate. City views and unmatched sound. The Rooftop at Pier 17’s Summer Concert Series is back. After a long hiatus, the Seaport’s unique venue on the edge of the East River welcomes fans and an eclectic lineup back to the stage—and there’s still time to snag tickets.

The third season of the award-winning venue’s concert series is as star-studded as previous summers, with artists like Rise Against, Blackberry Smoke and Kesha already playing to exuberant crowds.

Some of the artists taking to the stage this month include Machine Gun Kelly (September 14), Lord Huron (September 16 & 17), Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit (September 24 & 25), and Rufus Wainwright & Joe González (September 30). The fun flows into October, with Mt. Joy & Trampled by Turtles (October 3), New Found Glory (October 8), and Rodrigo y Gabriela (October 10).

Music-lovers who’ve rocked out on The Rooftop before may recognize some familiar names on the 2021 lineup:

With its Brooklyn Bridge backdrop, open-air setting, and first-class amenities, The Rooftop has a lot to offer concert-goers, too. Heineken Green Zone ticketholders enjoy a reserved viewing area in front of the stage, with a dedicated bar. Other activations by the Seaport’s partners like Chase, Lincoln and Pepsi also elevate the experience. Increased cleaning throughout the venue keeps concerts safe for all, with high-touch areas sanitized hourly. Whether pre-gaming before a show, or keeping the night going afterwards, the Seaport has plenty of bars and restaurants perfect for pairing with a concert.
