Buoyant

Buoyant is a tax-exempt 501(‌c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving New York City’s maritime heritage through public access, education, workforce development, preservation, and long-term stewardship, both by directly restoring historic vessels and by supporting the broader maritime infrastructure and systems that sustain lasting community benefit.

They envision a New York where people of all ages have meaningful access to the water, to maritime history, and to authentic harbor experiences that inspire learning, stewardship, and connection across generations.
