Join Francis’ World for the opening of A love letter to New York by Kate Fauvell. Meet the exhibiting artist, discover their creative practice, enjoy drinks and light refreshments, and connect with art and neighbors.
Kate Fauvell is a contemporary artist whose photo-based collage paintings explore change, risk, resilience, and the complexities of contemporary society. She holds a BFA from Binghamton University and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Binghamton University and the Rush Arts Foundation, as well as group exhibitions at the Painting Center, BRIC Arts, Odetta Digital, Google Headquarters, Ethan Cohen Gallery, Silvermine Galleries, SCOPE Art Fair, and venues in Scotland and Switzerland. A recipient of numerous awards and grants—including support from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Foundation, Anonymous Was a Woman, the Rauschenberg Foundation, and the New York Foundation for the Arts—Fauvell has also completed artist residencies at MASS MoCA, PROGR in Bern, Switzerland, and is currently an artist-in-residence with Art on the Ave NYC. She lives and works in New York City.

Francis’ World
Francesca Furian is an Italian-born, Brooklyn-based artist and designer creating hand-printed works and everyday objects rooted in artistic practice. Her work combines bold graphic forms, texture, and color, drawing from her background in Italy and life in New York. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and produced, bridging fine art and functional design.
