Kee’s Chocolates was founded in 2002 by Kee Ling Tong. She left her job in the corporate world to pursue her dream of opening a shop with flowers and chocolates in New York City. After a year, Kee was highly praised for producing artisanal chocolates that overshadowed her floral half of the business. She began to only concentrate on her handcrafted chocolates full time.
Today, Kee’s Chocolates is known for its handcrafted confections made fresh daily, including its signature bonbons, macarons, and fruit-based sweets. The new Front Street location will feature an open kitchen concept with clear glass frontage, allowing customers to view and experience the chocolate-making process firsthand. With a small, highly specialized team, production is guided by more than two decades of craftsmanship and precision.
