Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It.  We may collect the following types of information from and about users of our Website or Wi-Fi Services:

  • Information you give us, including information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, birth date, email address or telephone number (“personal information”), and other information such as personal interests, age, gender, marital status, and preferences of certain products and services, which may be linked with personal information; and/or
  • Information that we collect from your use of the services, such as your location, automatically recorded times and dates of visits to the Website, and information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website and usage details.  Such information may be linked with information you provide us.

When you provide information to our Wireless Providers, whether directly as part of the Wireless Provider’s registration process or indirectly by using a social networking account (e.g., Facebook) to login to use Wi-Fi Services.  When you login to use Wi-Fi Services using a social networking account, such account will automatically provide the Wireless Provider with, or authorize the Wireless Provider to access some personal information about you, such as your first and last name, username, profile pictures, unique identifiers and access tokens, email address, and phone numbers, which may then be provided to us by the Wireless Provider (“Wi-Fi Login Related Information”).  Wireless Providers, such as SSI, have their own privacy policies, which govern their collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal and other information they receive or collect from you and which are not controlled by us.  Such privacy policies and practices are the sole responsibility of the Wireless Provider.  Wireless Providers may collect personal and other information in addition to the Wi-Fi Login Related Information.  Please see the applicable Wireless Provider’s privacy policy for further details.  SSI’s privacy policy can be found here: socialsign.in/privacy.
 

Information You Provide to Us. The information we collect on or through our Website or through Wireless Providers may include:

  • The content and other information you provide when you use our Website or Wi-Fi Services, including when you sign up for an account and communicate with others through the Website.  This can include information in or about the content you provide, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created.  
  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website or to use the Wi-Fi Services.  This includes information provided at the time of requesting additional information, registering to use features of our Website or the Wi-Fi Services, posting material, or requesting further services.  We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Website or the Wi-Fi Services.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
  • Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
  • Your search queries on the Website.
     

Usage Details, IP Addresses, Statistical Data, And Cookies.  As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

  • Website Tools. You should note that our “Planner” tool, which sends email notifications based on your search criteria, is equipped with a disabling capability.  To disable email notifications, click “off” at the Email Alert box in your planner.
  • Third-Party Tracking Technologies.  We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising.   We ask that you notify us of any changes to your personal information.  You may send us an email at [email protected] to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us.  We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account.  We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change or deletion would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Your California Privacy Rights.  California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.  To make such a request, please send an email stating your request to [email protected].   

Do-Not-Track Signals and Similar Mechanisms.   Some web browsers may transmit “do-not-track” signals to websites with which the browser communicates.  Our Website does not currently respond to these “do-not-track” signals.

No part of the Website is designed or directed to children.  To be eligible to register for or log in to the Website or Wi-Fi Services you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.  Without limiting the foregoing, no one under age 13 may provide any information to the Website or register for Wi-Fi Services.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.  By using our Website or registering for Wi-Fi Services, you warrant that you are not under 13.  If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Website or on or through any of its features, register on the Website or for Wi-Fi Services, make any purchases through the Website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this Website, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address or any screen name or user name you may use.  If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.  If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you.  Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website or Wi-Fi Service, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  Do not share your password with anyone.  We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas.  The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any other users of the Website or other members of the public.  If you lose control of either your username or password, you may lose control over your sensitive information utilized in the Website or for Wi-Fi Services, and you agree that we will not be responsible.  In addition, you agree that you are responsible for all actions and transactions taken under your username and password.  If you believe that your username or password has been stolen or otherwise compromised, immediately contact us with relevant details at [email protected].
