Sun, sand, and your favorite summer sounds. Head to the beach this July Fourth Weekend—right here downtown, at Beach Fest. For four days and nights over the holiday weekend, you can kick back with friends and family in a giant sandbox on Seaport Square, enjoying bites and beverages from your favorite local eateries and food trucks. Refresh with drinks from Heineken and Maker’s Mark, and groove to daily DJ sets and live music performances. Even the kids can get down to their favorite tunes, with the Seaport Kids x Music Fest from 11am–1pm on Saturday, July 6.

Seaport Kids x Music Fest
Saturday, July 6, 11am – 1pm, Seaport Square
Live music. Dance parties. Arts, crafts, and good times for the whole fam. Come on down to this special Saturday of Beach Fest devoted to Seaport Kids, in partnership with Mommy Poppins and Brooklyn Bridge Parents. Mr Marc will helm all the fun from the main stage, with a full schedule of musical performances and dancing. Face painting, sand castles, and more interactive activities will complete the afternoon.
Seaport Kids is presented by NewYork-Presbyterian, Official Hospital of the Seaport.

Beach Fest Food & Drinks
Fuel your time in the sun with summer snacks and stay hydrated with refreshing drinks. Lawn Club Burgers and Classic Hot Dogs will be available, along with other warm-weather favorites from the Beach Fest food trucks.

Seaport Museum Activities
Saturday, July 6
Swing by the South Street Seaport Museum on July 6, for a free educational activity that uses 3D models to explore watersheds and how people in New York City interact with water resources. Plus, from 12–2pm, the Museum will host Forging Maritime Metals, a drop-in metalworking demonstration on Pier 16 that delves into the crucial role of blacksmiths during the Age of Sail.
